Armored Engine is a red vehicle mod delays the damage threshold before the vehicle catches on fire, except it increases the engine fire damage by a certain percentage.
Alternative red modifications consist of Fireproofing and Muffler.

Honestly, I’ve never use this mod. If someone would like to send me some information about this mod, I’d appreciate it. Otherwise, I’m just going to go off the statistics and numbers.
I think this mod is pretty useless. Sure, it delays the point where your car goes from smoking to a fire, but I think being able to know when your car is about to catch fire is pretty useful. The earlier, the better.
I personally think that if you’re going to go with a red vehicle mod, then go with Fireproofing for durability, or Muffler for stealth.
